The Research Project “Legal Indicators for Local Assessment of Waste (LEGISWASTE): The Effectiveness of Local Regulations on Waste Management (PID2024-155789OA-I00)”, funded by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, proposes the development of innovative legal indicators to assess the effectiveness of local regulations in the field of waste management and the circular economy.
Aligned with the call’s objectives on sustainability and ecological transition, the project seeks to address the challenges related to the implementation of environmental policies at the local level, where regulatory frameworks frequently encounter barriers of applicability, coherence, and effectiveness.
